I have the same experience Jeff re getting the most done when I am the most busy. There's a momentum that kicks in when I am active with a number of commitments and engaged on multiple fronts. That seems to be more important than how much time I have.
You’re lucky and wise to have figured this out at a young age, make hay. Children change the algebra of this equation.
