Kierkegaard, Muir, Nietzsche, and The Habit of Great Minds
Three Point Thursday | 3 Timeless Maxims
To curious minds,
Happy Three Point Thursday.
Here’s 3 quotes I’m thinking about:
“Above all, do not lose your desire to walk: every day I walk myself into a state of well being and walk away from every illness. I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it.”
―Søren Kierkegaard
“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.”
—John Muir
“All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking.”
—Friedrich Nietzsche
My uncle Joe accurately describes my cousin Matt as a “prolific walker.” Joe called me recently to tell me that Matt was on a stroll when my other cousin, his brother Jack, happened to drive by him. Jack picked him up and they went and got food. But they didn’t go home together after. Matt had him drop him off where he found him so he could continue his walk.
La vita è bella,

All M Sul Knows is Grind
So, true, walking always makes me feel better. It allows me to clear my head. I often run into Matt on my walks.
