Fired up after this. I need some tea to toss in the harbor.

The local color of the "What is Massachusetts to me?" section is awesome Jeff. Particularly the description of the youth basketball tournament.

I appreciate that, Rick. How much I loved those basketball tournaments.

I love this easy! Being from Worcester, can identify with the looks and comments I get when I tell people that I was born and raised in Worcester. Keep up the great writing.

Bro, I don't know if you know this, but Texans definitely have the biggest personalities. "Everything's bigger in Texas." Haha mostly just joking. Mostly.

Our sports teams may not be as dominant, but they are not paltry by any means. And I'm talking about professional as well as college.

What we lack in intense seasons/geography and intense personalities, we make up for in southern hospitality and wide roads with high speed limits and plenty of parking. Slower pace. Lots of fried food, barbecue, and tex-mex. I could go on.

I imagine someone could say the same thing about each of the fifty states, which is what makes America so great.
