The Beginning of Infinity, How Language Learning Changes You, My Weightlifting Program, Inspiring Quotes, and More
Knowledge Journey #12
Dear reader,
On a drive back from the gym recently, my friend and I were talking about how the best books are the ones that change how you perceive nearly everything. Books that are so rich in insight that their concepts start to seep into so many different aspects of your worldview.
The one I had in mind during this conversation was The Beginning of Infinity by David Deutsch. It is potentially the most important work of our generation. You can never be the same after reading it.
Now, it is heavy stuff. I’ve been on and off studying it for over a year now—reading, rereading, highlighting, underlining, and rereading again. So as a supplement, I also put together this playlist of podcasts with Naval Ravikant, Brett Hall and the author himself. It has been useful for helping me understand many of the book’s ideas. Happy learning:
