This week’s edition features a key concept from Eastern mysticism, my simple investment strategy, and a powerful line from the legendary author Leo Tolstoy.

An interesting concept from Eastern wisdom traditions is the sound om. This is sacred to the Hindus, believed to be the primordial noise of the universe. Practically speaking, by the way, I’ve found that thinking it—or briefly uttering it under your breath—is helpful for making you focus on the moment you’re in.
