To Three Pointers VIPS,
Happy Friday you beauties.
I went to a New York Yankees game last weekend. The traffic getting into the Bronx was a nightmare. The weather was gross. The Yankees got whacked. I had a good time though. There’s some people you have fun doing anything with.
However I’ve never been around a higher concentration of repulsive scumbags than I was while sitting at that stadium.
Go Sox.
Anyways.
Enjoy!

El que no arriesga no gana is a famous Spanish saying that means “he who does not risk does not win.”
I tend to take this phrase too literally sometimes, and take stupid risks, like going down expert ski runs when I don’t know how to ski or impulsively buying a train ticket to a different city in a foreign country with nowhere to stay.
However, although obvious dumb risks exist, the idea that there’s safe routes in life—generally speaking—is a fallacy. Life is fragile and unpredictable. You could play everything safe and still get mopped. “All courses of action are risky, so prudence is not in avoiding danger (it's impossible), but calculating risk and acting decisively.”2
Some people have this idea that by taking a conventional path, by not saying things they feel deep down, by being a people-pleaser, whatever, is going to make their life easier.
